Sending a payment from the Mundi platform is very easy. You can pay with your Mundi Account balance or fund the payment from your bank account. Just follow these steps:

1. Start the payment: In the main menu, go to "Account & Currencies" and click "Send money".
2. Choose where the funds come from:
3. • My Mundi balance: the money leaves your USD or MXN balance instantly.
   • Transfer from my bank: you don't need a balance in Mundi, and we lock in your exchange rate for 48 hours.
4. Enter the amount: Type how much you want to send and choose the currency your recipient will receive.
5. • Note: Here you'll see the exchange rate and how much your recipient gets. Mundi doesn't charge a fee for the transfer.
6. Select the destination account: Search for the account by name, bank, or last digits. If it's not listed, click "+ Add a new account".
7. Confirm: Review the summary, add a reference for the recipient if you like (for example, the invoice number), and click "Confirm and send".
   

Done! If you paid with your balance, the transfer goes out right away.

If you chose "Transfer from my bank":

1. Fund the transaction: From your bank, transfer the exact amount to the account shown on screen. Include the reference in the transfer description.
2. • Important: You have 48 hours to fund the transaction. If you don't, a fixed USD 50 fee applies and, if the exchange rate went up, you'll also be charged the difference.
     

Done! As soon as we receive your transfer, we send the payment.
